Welcome to the Cancerian Portal
Welcome summer and Cancer season into the flowing waters of our bodies, as the SOLSTICE marks the highest point (or lowest in the southern hemisphere) of the sun.
Scenter Yourself with the fragrance notes of the Cancer Essence:
Soft Waterlily🌝🌞🌝
The Summer Solstice is a time of awakening into the v i s i o n s and dreams you see for yourself. We have felt the inspiration of spring ideas, planned the garden, planted them as seeds, and now in cancer season we return to the body and dream states of intuitive knowing, nourishing with tender care.

CANCER MUSINGS
This feminine sign of Cancer tunes us to the emotional body and its ability to sense collective tide shifts. Healing is ancestral and cyclical like this signs ruling planet the Moon! The moon moves into a new Zodiac sign every 2.5 days, shifting the emotional landscape of collective consciousness. Because the Moon is our closest celestial ally, she keeps the Earth in balance and turning in its orbit, tempers our seasons, as well as controlling the rise and fall of the ocean's tides.

One of my favorite podcasts, musing with the moon:
Ritual
The Moon asks: What takes care of us?
There is a wonderful saying in aikido: he or she who dances most intimately with the qi of the universe is safest and most effective. The moon says, "Intimacy with creation takes care of us".
Moon=Mother
And through the mother we perceive a source of nourishment and comfort. Whether or not our biological mother is this for us, we turn to the great mother and know she holds us.
Ritual Suggestion:
1. Brew a pot or cup of tea from the subscription box.
2. Create an alter space with elements of silver, and items that remind you of your ancestors. These can be actual items that belonged to them or even nature elements of animal tribes you feel akin to (feathers, crystals, etc), or saints, leaders, teachers you resonate with that have passed on.
3. Sit in the evening moonlight by your alter, and light a candle.
4. Call in your personal protector guides, and then your "elevated + benevolent ancestors" to the space.
5. Offer a cup of tea on the alter in gratitude for them being the reason you walk this earth today. You can then ask for any prayer of your choosing.
6. Sit in stillness and listen.
Mini Astrology Session for the Moon
+ The moon in our chart is our key to intimacy with life!
Moon is moods, emotional inner life, spiritual and ancestral lineage.
Moon says from our charts: I belong to a lunar tradition reaching back into time.
As we weave ancient myth into modern day, the moon now describes our own mother and what she passed down to us in terms of reactions to society.
Find your moon sign in your birth chart to tell you:
How we work with moods, “moods are messengers”
Then
Give your mood an expression, and create with it
Our mood is spirit mail, but undelivered mood messengers are toxic, so they must be created with and expressed, instead of suppressed or ignored.
Why?
We only truly have power of insight when we express ourselves authentically. Let emotions flow, don’t damn up the river, or it will find weakest point and break the levee. Meaning we are all subject to overwhelm if we don't express ourselves.
Cyclical Journey Through Self-Care: Use the changing moon sign as inspiration on how to take care of ourselves.

Moon in Alchemy is emotional self-possession
In Traditional Alchemy: metals are living seeds of the planets
Silver is living seed of the moon. Found with the metal lead (Saturn)
Take responsibility (Saturn) of our own moods (moon). Aka use creative self expression.
As Carl Jung says “feel one step at a time” feel your way along one step at a time to live an authentic life. One clue at a time…read that book, talk to that person, research that thing and listen to your excited inner guide.
Lunar illumination to you darlings,
