Across time, cultures have been observing Venus in the sky. This season, witness her movement for yourself. Here is her dance in the cosmos:

Venus rises as the morning star for 260 days. She disappears for 40 days. Rises again for 260 days as the evening star. Then Venus disappears for 7 days from the sky (this is when Venus is retrograde or in the "underworld"). 

Venus represents the goddess in all of us, her path from maiden to queen to crone is inherent in our maturing psyche. There are gifts in the challenges and trials of embodiment and healing of our personal story.

Planet: Venus. 

Mythology: As per Greek myth, in Libra season Persephone returns to the underworld to reunite with Hades, and takes her throne as the queen of the underworld. This story as metaphor reminds us to make peace with the parts of us that we hide away or shame as the dark parts of ourselves. Now we welcome decent into Autumn and winter. Venus wants to bring beauty and value to everything she touches. She is the domain of flowers, beauty and perfume!

Color: Wear the color pink to symbolize the heart and Cooper for the metal related to Venus.

Day of the Week: Friday or Venus day (Freyja is the most celebrated Norse goddess). 

Dedicate this day to Venus by flirting with her: spend a little more time dressing up in honor of the goddess (don't forget to add perfume!) Also a great day for sex and/or a goddess ritual.
